Jamy Barreau was born and raised on Port St. Lucie, FL, where he participated in the Criminal Justice Academy’s Teen Court Program as an advocate, and where he gained hands on experience working with the Department of Juvenile Justice. Jamy graduated from the University of Central Florida with a major in legal studies in 2013. From there, he went on to Dwayne O. Andreas, Barry University School of Law, where he was a part of the Barry Law Review and served on the Editorial Board as a Research and Technical Editor. This experience helped Jamy publish his own work in the Barry Law Review Journal in 2017.
Prior to joining Apfelbaum Law, Jamy gained experience on a variety of different areas of law such as family law, business and contract law, employment law and personal injury law. Upon his return to Port St. Lucie, Jamy joined Apfelbaum Law and has been working on a variety of areas of law, including commercial litigation and business transactions.
